Our Boys New Big Boy Bedroom!!!

David’s grandpa handcrafted a captains bed for him when he was a boy and that is what Beau has had for his big boy bed until today. Beau is moving up, literally, onto his new loft bed that Papa handcrafted for him. Cole is now moving on up to the captains bed. Papa did the most amazing job on this bed. I am so excited and I think it is so awesome that our boys now have an heirloom handed down from their great grandfather and now their Papa. It means so much to us and we are so happy with how it turned out. We could never say Thank You enough Papa!!!

G.I. Beau

Beau wanted to watch G.I.Joe this weekend and, of course, before we push play, he has to get into character.

Home Depot Workshop

Beau has started going to Home Depot for their kids workshops with his Nana. He has made some great things so far. I always look forward to what he creates and brings home to us. This hot plate was a surprise for me for Christmas... …and this weekend he made a calendar box just in time for the new year.

Classic Santa Picture

Santa came to visit the kids at their school and when I was given the pictures of that visit, it was hard not to laugh at this sight. My little Cole, the child that will go up and kiss any dog, no matter how vicious it looks, does not like sitting on Santa’s lap.
