Something special happened back in October and I cannot believe that I never blogged about it. Cole played fall ball this year and really enjoyed it. He was able to get some pitching reps in and had an awesome coach that really cared about the kids and took pride in teaching them the fundamentals of baseball. Beau loved watching Cole play but you could tell that it was also hard for him to just watch and be a fan…..he really wanted to be on the field. Cole’s coach started having Beau help out at practices and it was a great experience for him. Coach also knew that Beau being a lefty will NEVER be a catcher but noticed him having a great time catching for the kids in practices so during one of the last games of Cole’s season the team was short players so Coach pulled Beau out of the stands to go into the game and be Cole’s catcher!! This is pretty much a once in a lifetime deal and it was AWESOME! I’m pretty sure that this will be a lasting memory for my little studs! I know it is for me!
