Valentine’s Day

The boys woke up to some treats from Dad and Mom for Valentine’s Day. It is, by far, the kids most favorite school holiday! The party and exchange of Valentine’s is spoken about at least once a day for 2 weeks leading up to the big day!

Now rewind a week….Cole has had this rash that reminded me of what Beau’s eczema has always looked like at the start so I was trying to treat it myself with the “Schaffer Eczema Pharmacy” and it would not go away. I got him into the dermatologist this morning and it is strep!!!!! Strep rash!!!!! What?! I thought strep was throat! Boy do I feel great! Mom of the Year right here everybody! And…..on Valentine’s Day, the party that I have not gone a day without hearing about! OMG!

The point of me telling this story is please go to the doctor because you never know and strep is serious!

David spent the night working an overnight job with the power company so I went and got the boys’ and I a heart shaped pizza for dinner.











I am always blown away at the work that my husband does! It is AMAZING! Really?! Can you imagine making sense of all of that up there?! I love my lineman!

I’m Here! I’m Here!

Holy smokes it’s been one month since I have posted on here. Yikes! Let me fill you in on where I have been.

January was the start of basketball for Beau and Cole. Cole’s division meets Monday & Wednesday, Beau’s on Tuesday & Thursday. Go Figure! So we are at the gym 4 nights a week and it has been so fun and so crazy. Life is slightly blurred. It seems a majority of our nights are at 5:30, which means I pull in the driveway from work, they hop in my car, and off we go. Cole’s age is comical and adorable to watch and Beau’s is intense and competitive. It’s amazing at 8 years old…these boys are out for blood and I LOVE watching it!

so……I know you are going to laugh your butts off at me but Momma got a new camera, AGAIN! This has got to be “the one” as my test has been indoor light and action shots and I could not be happier. These are all taken on “auto” so when I learn even more about the settings….my computer is going to fill up fast. Check out the before and after:

Super Bowl Sunday didn’t turn out like we had hoped but Papa made a Super Bowl pool and here is the big winner!
