This cracks me up. When we are at Wild Waters the cement is so hot that we all hop, skip and run from shade spot to shade spot to avoid burning a few layers of skin off of our feet but this same cement feels so good to lay down on to get warm?!?!?! What?!?!?!

Beau, Cole & I went to see Turbo and it was so cute! I would totally watch it again! We need to take Papa as the story is about a garden snail that races in the Indianapolis 500….he would love it! As we were watching it, Beau was telling me which actors were which snails and the other characters they have played in movies. Crazy impressive! (Beau’s words: Whiplash is Samuel L. Jackson and he is also Nick Fury from the Iron Man Movies. Theo “Turbo” is Ryan Reynolds who is Hal Jordan…“The Green Lantern.”) The snail that cracked me up was Smoove Move whose voice was Snoop Dogg. LOL! 
We stopped by to hang out a the new playground that went up at Pah Rah park in Sparks. They did a fantastic job on it and I couldn’t even stay off…..I felt like a kid again for a little while.

We spent the day with Grandma at Wild Waters today. The weather was pretty overcast and we even got rain, which made it a very nice day compared to the record breaking heat we have been having. Grandma and I would have loved a little sunshine but our feet were thanking Mother Nature for keeping all of the cement cool.

During the last week, David and I have been blessed to visit with all EIGHT of our nieces and nephews.

We drove down to Huntington Beach this week to visit with the Miller’s, Grandma, Aunt Lorrie, Aunt Lynn, Aunt Jean, cousin John and cousin Patric. Grandma rented a gorgeous beach house that we all stayed at and it was so fun. It was across the street from the beach and made for a wonderful visit with everyone. Thank You Grandma (Mom)!!
Beau was 6 months old the last time he was at the beach so this was basically their first time to swim and they LOVED it!
