Kinder Fair....How Did This Happen

Beau Is A Muckdog
An amazing thing has been happening in Beau’s world for the past few months. Apparently he had some fans that we didn’t even know about. During his prior little league season he was spotted by a tournament/travel baseball team and they tracked him down. Essentially he was recruited! At the ripe old age of 8! David and I did not know what to expect when this all came about and honestly were just in shock and so proud that people see what a great little athlete he is. I must have read the “8U Recruit” e-mail that was sent to us 107 times. They wanted him to start practicing with the existing team for a few months and then be re-evaluated and possibly move forward from there. Beau knows this team very well and he thinks that the kids that play on it are the coolest so to say he was excited to practice with them is a huge understatement.
Look..At..This..Smile!
He practiced his little butt off with them and David and I saw things in this little guy that we haven’t seen before. He wanted this more than anything he’s ever wanted before. He was having so much fun with these guys and getting phenomenal coaching from the amazing coaches. The program is mind blowing to us! The kids are so respectful and welcomed the new guys with open arms. The staff really cares about these kids: asking about grades, talking to them about respect, expecting them to be kind to all at all times. We can see it in these boys while at the practices and even when we see them out around town. This is serious stuff!
Beau heard the words he’d been praying for: HE MADE THE TEAM! He will now continue to practice from now through August and then he should be ready for the tournaments.
We could not be any more proud of him! This is going to be a fun new adventure and we are ready! This is the best program that he could possibly be in and we are just thrilled and so happy for him.
Congrats buddy! You are capable of amazing things and we can’t wait to see where this takes you.

While at camp during Spring Break with the Muckdogs, the Sparks Tribune newspaper stopped by. Check out the little guy in the red sweatshirt holding the white bat. Yep that’s Beau! :)

Introducing Rocky
Nana & Papa’s little canary, Sunshine, went to birdie heaven and the boys were bummed, especially Cole our little animal lover.
RIP Sunshine
Nana & Papa called and invited Cole to go with her today to adopt a new feathered friend. They made it a little date and grabbed some cherry limeade for the road.
they met a lot of birds today and I’m sure the choice was fun. Nana truly almost let him bring home TWO!
they have found “the one.” The one on the left with the brown and yellow feathers.
packed up and ready to go. Papa said Cole talked to him all the way home to keep him calm. They will call him ROCKY!
Thank you Nana & Papa for including Cole in this adventure. I know he had a great time. Thank You for taking pictures for me. You know me well! My crazy blog/scrapbooking mind greatly appreciates it!

Happy Birthday Dear David
Your birthday is the perfect time
to wish you nothing less
than favorite memories,
plans and dreams
that bring you happiness.
For birthdays are a link
between the future
and the past,
reminding us to treasure most
those special joys that last!
Happy Birthday David! We love you so much and appreciate you more than words can ever express! You are so wonderful to us! For all of the sacrifices you make to help us to get to our main goals, thank you! I love you to the moon and back!
I found a new “little” car for David so that he doesn’t have to put so many miles and his truck and will be a much more practical daily driver.
Beau and Cole have named it Shadow!
Happy Birthday Dear David,
Happy Birthday To You!!!

David’s Birthday Dinner
Nana and Papa took David (and us) out to dinner to celebrate. He (with some help from Beau) chose the Oyster Bar at the Nugget.
Thank you Nana and Papa for the fantastic dinner!
Beau is crazy about ribs, chicken wings and seafood. His most favorite seafood is whatever is super cold and you have to shell! He got the big seafood platter and was in shock and so happy when it arrived!!!
of course there is enough to share…do you see the size of this?! NOPE…..check out the after!
mind blowing!
Happy Birthday David!

Happy Birthday Dear Rylee
Saturday night, Siobhan threw Rylee a “glow party” birthday to celebrate #9! It was so fun and so amazing! The kids had a BLAST! The party kicked off early in the day with the making of their tee shirts for the party that night. Glow paint and creative minds!
this Momma was asked to attempt a “Fox Racing” fox….I made one…..that turned into several. I guess that means mission accomplished!
As if the glow shirts weren’t enough, SJ also found black light activated face paint for the kids. Here are the before black light/under black light pictures. :)
The Party Tent
David and I
The kids played “draw a glowing mustache on the man.” so funny!
Beau placed his perfectly
here is the man after everyone went
after partying in the tent it was time to sing Happy Birthday! Check out the amazing cake Siobhan made!
Happy Birthday Dear RYLEE…
…Happy Birthday to you!!!
These guys are responsible for setting up and designing the glow tent/trailer. Aren’t they handsome?!
This was such a fun party and I know the kids will remember it forever!
Thank You Johnson’s!!!
