Beau’s 7 & Cole’s 4 Year Old Photos

Beau’s school pictures happened to be on his official birthday so it was perfect. We are very pleased with how they turned out. Such a handsome fellow.
Our family went to the portrait studio today to complete this year’s photos. My guys did so great! Here are most of the results! Love These Guys So Much!

4 Wheeler

Dad found a huge surprise for the boys today! He has been researching…..and talking to friends…..and researching some more….and today was the day that was meant to be. The boys know that this is a big responsibility and test for them to show us that they’re ready to take on the challenge. They are both so excited! Their chit chat about it didn’t stop for a single second until bed time and are now dreaming about it for sure!

Yum! Yum! Ribs!

We had some yummy ribs at the rib cook-off this weekend. Boy do we have children with two very different tastes. Ribs, ribs, ribs everywhere and Beau is in heaven! He also tried the monster smoked turkey leg this year and loved that! Cole on the other hand was in heaven with watermelon and corn on the cob. I did catch one picture of Beau eating corn….had to document that since he and vegi’s aren’t very friendly!

Cole’s First Home Depot Day

Cole is old enough to go with Beau to “Home Depot Day” with Papa and Nana! He was a bit quiet and hesitant at first, not knowing what to expect but had a great time. He got his apron and his first pin and I would say that he looks pretty darn excited!

My New Do

Today was my big day to go change up my hairstyle a bit. Dave has been working out of town so I didn’t tell him that I had a hair appointment because I wanted to surprise him. He has suggested I try this style for a while and I have gone in before with the intention of trying it out but always end up chickening out and just getting a trim. I was proud of myself that I followed through and love this style! I do feel like I am still trying to master the styling of it though as I don’t feel like I have ever been all that great at “doing” my hair. To that, Dave says I’m crazy! Love that man!
