Cole’s first homework assignment was to create himself! Cole I may have had a little fun with this?!?!

”Go Dogs” bracelet for his brother
titanium necklace that my kids wear at all times!
Welcome family and friends. Our family started in 1999 when a girl asked a boy to call her. I am so proud to say that we have been loving each other for 17 years! We hope you enjoy our updates. Love, David, Kristy, Beau and Cole
We have a NINE year old! The last year of single digits and half way to 18! As I was reminded. ;) Beau has accomplished so much this past year and this year is stacking up to be a memorable one. He is officially a tournament baseball player. He is also playing football and would love it if we could find a way to add soccer into his schedule! He’s out of his mind. He has so much energy, I wish he could share some with me.
Beau is so smart, athletic, charming, loving, observant and caring. We are so proud of all that he has done in these 9 years and can’t wait to see what is to come.
Cole and I found this card for Beau and it was so perfect! As you can see above in the photo evidence. Cole gave his brother that new Muckdogs hat.
After this his day was jammed packed with sports, just as he likes it….except the poor guy isn’t feeling 100% as you can see in his eyes.
that is a slab of chocolate cake right there.
Disney gift card from the Wallace Family. Yippee! Only 48 days!!! Thank You!
Happy Birthday Beau! We hope you had a great day!
As you know from previous posts, Beau has been recruited by an elite travel/tournament baseball team and has been working his little booty off. He has loved every second of it! They have about one tournament a month and the team selects a travel roster prior to each one. There is an 18 player roster of kids that practice at all times and then 12 players are selected to travel each time based on many things. It will be different each time and not every tournament is a guaranteed spot for the players. This keeps them competitive, working hard and keeping their grades up. We love it! He is learning that nothing in life is handed to you without hard work, respect and appreciation.
This week was the release of the first travel roster and Beau (“Turbeau” / “Beau’man” as we refer to him sometimes) is on the travel roster!!! We are so proud of him! He is ecstatic and so ready to get out there and play ball! Congratulations Beau!
Papa came by to give him a “congratulations” gift from he and Nana…….a new big barrel bat! Beau has been a little stressed about not having one and is one happy, happy boy.
THANK YOU PAPA & NANA!
Look at that SMILE!
Our “baby” started kindergarten today! Wow! How can this really be?!?! Time is flying by and I have mixed emotions about it! Today was emotional for me as I am finding the milestones with the “baby” of the family are far worse. I can only think it is because you know it is your last time experiencing them.
We are so proud of this young man. He was beyond excited to start school. He is blessed to be in an all day kindergarten program with many of his friends. He LOVES his teacher! He marched in with confidence and gave me a little wave as he passed me. Thank goodness for sunglasses, I wouldn’t have wanted him to see my teary eyes. He is going to do great things and we can’t wait to see what those are. Good luck buddy!
After school the kid was beaming. He had the best day ever! He was wearing a new tee shirt and told me that the school asked any of the kids that had siblings starting the first day of kinder today to eat lunch with them and make them feel welcome! This melts my heart as eating lunch with Beau was the highlight of Cole’s day!
Saturday was the big party to celebrate SIX and NINE!! We decided to try a new party place and it was so awesome! Base Camp in downtown Reno has a huge climbing wall outside that goes up the entire casino wall and some super fun “boulders” inside, along with a tight rope and rings. The kids loved it! We didn’t tell the boys where we were going until we got there and it drove them crazy! Beau was so worried, I had moments of feeling terrible but was confident he would love it so we kept it s secret!
I designed the invitations this year and thought they came out pretty fun!
