We made our inaugural camping trip this weekend for Memorial Day and the weather was forecast to be terrible the entire time. Fortunately it wasn’t terrible and we had a really great time with our friends at Pyramid Lake. Friday night was a windy, rainy thunderstorm when we got there and the wind kept up overnight. It was pretty cool though because we fell asleep to the sound of waves crashing like the ocean. So relaxing. When we woke up Saturday those waves crept up into our camp, which the kids loved! They got the biggest kick out of “our flood.”
Cole had an absolute blast splashing around, dancing and singing Luke Bryan! He was drenched and didn’t have a care in the world. Sweet innocence! Cole and Rylee
even with all of the gloom, the pyramid seemed to always have the sun shining down on it. so pretty.

Are You My Mother?
Beau had his music program at school today. All of the first graders did their take on this classic Dr. Seuss book.

Beau was chosen to be one of a few kids playing the little bird looking for his mother. He does not like music or drama AT ALL and it terrifies him to be in front of anyone to sing or play any part so for him to pull this off for two shows in front of the kids at school first and then all of the parents and family members for the night show was very impressive. He tells me that sometimes in music class he gets up there and tries “but no words come out and I feel like I am going to puke.” I made him his mask to wear for his part and he really liked it even though the feathers really tickled. :) Papa and Nana were able to go watch him at the matinee time at 2:30pm and then Dad, Mom and Grandma watched him at the 6:00pm show. He was very happy to see everyone so thank you all so much for making it.
On our way out of the school I noticed this super cool picture of Alli The Alligator (school mascot). If you look closely, it is made by every child’s school picture from this year in different shades. So awesome! I was able to find Beau pretty quickly.
Beau, you did a fabulous job on stage today. You memorized and practiced your lines for a month and you stood in front of all of those people and said them loud and clear. Great job buddy! We are so proud of you.
Love, Dad and Mom

Happy Mother’s Day
no language can express the power and
beauty and heroism of a mother's love
Happy Mother’s Day Dear Our Mother’s! We hope you had a great day!
My guys made my day fabulous and words could never thank them enough. David has overwhelmed me with his gift. I am so thankful for him and honored to have him as my husband. I am so blessed to have my boys, Beau and Cole. I don’t think they could ever understand how much I love and adore them and am so proud of them beyond words.
I AM THE LUCKY ONE!
We are about 4 months from our 10 year wedding anniversary and David had our jeweler design this most meaningful addition to my wedding band. Their are 2 added outer bands that each hold 5 stones, 10 total for our 10 years married. There are 3 main stones that have always been, those signify our 3 years together before marriage, and the meaning can double as the main stone signifying David and the 2 outers, my precious boys. The outer bands are made of gold that was mined right here in Carlin, NV for my 2 “golden boys.” I love it so much David! Thank You from the bottom of my heart.
