Cole's First Time On His 4-Wheeler

Santa brought riding gear for the boys so we took the 4-wheelers out on Christmas and the day after. This was Cole's first time riding by himself. It took all of 100 yards for him to keep on the gas and take off.
AMAZING!

Christmas Day 2011

David woke up to the sound of footsteps out to the living room at about 7am and then immediately by the sound of footsteps running back to the bedroom. He woke me up and just then we saw Beau’s little face peeking into our room with a giant smile. He was trying to whisper but yell at the same time that “Santa Came! Santa Came!” Cole was still asleep so we told Beau it was ok to go wake him. All we heard after that was footsteps running to the living room. Santa brought new riding gear for their new 4-wheelers.
Merry Christmas! Riding Gear From Santa

The boys got ready to go out on their 4-wheelers for the afternoon. This was Cole’s very first time on his by himself. Since it was Christmas day there wasn’t a sole out there and it made it so nice, they had so much fun riding around without any distractions.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at Nana and Papa’s was very nice! Everyone was spoiled rotten! Dinner was delicious and then Nana had an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins for us. Not just any ice cream cake…..she had them make half of it with Daiquiri Ice…Cole is obsessed with Daiquiri Ice from Baskin Robbins so it is safe to say the cake was a huge hit!

All I Want For Christmas Is….Wait What?!

Santa stopped by for a visit at the preschool today and since Beau is in school all day, just Cole was able to go talk to him. He marched right up and sat on his lap this year. Cole.Santa.2011 Santa asked what his Christmas wish was this year and he said, in a very serious little voice,
“ For Christmas, please may I have Doggie Doo!”
Wait! What!? Poor Santa! He probably wonders if this kid is serious………………….and he was!!!

Trimming Nana & Papa’s Tree

We went over to Nana & Papa’s tonight to trim their Christmas tree. This year Beau, Cole & William did just about all of it by themselves. Beau could reach the taller branches & handled the fragile ornaments carefully while Cole & William took care of the bottom half.

Beau Lost His First Tooth

Oh my how this first tooth has become such a huge "thing." All of Beau's friends have lost their first and Beau has been very inpatient patient about it. Come to find out, losing your first tooth is a huge status thing at school. Who knew!??! I was practically going to ask the dentist to please pull one out for him. Ha! Not really! Well, it finally happened last night (12/11/2011) and he is ecstatic about it! I LOVE this picture for the toothless grin but more so for the way my camera captured those deep green beautiful eyes.

Beau and His Legos

Our tree is all decorated and I have been noticing some added decorations hidden within the branches.

He is such a funny boy…..and so creative!

Christmas Time Is Here

Time to decorate the Christmas tree again. I know everyone will tell you your whole life that time goes by faster each year but I honestly do not know where 2011 went.

Dearest Time,
Please slow down, you’re killing me.
Love, Kristy

Beau and Cole don’t know this yet but we are going to do the “12 DVD’s of Christmas” starting this week. Of course, Mom had to wrap all of them!

Moon Rocks 11/26/2011

As you know from this post Beau and Cole have 4-wheelers now and it was time to take them out for a spin. We headed out to Moon Rocks with the Johnson’s for the day. I didn’t really know what to expect, being their first time, but they did fantastic!
Beau has no fear and this Momma wishes he had a little. He took off! Went right for the hills and was talking about the jumps…..whoa, slow down! He did so well! We are very proud of him and his riding ability so far.
Cole hung out and had fun playing in the dirt. There were a lot of people out that day so we rode along with Cole this time since he needs to learn the “rules of the road.” We’re not worried about him but all of the other more advanced riders could pose a potential problem.
