Beau played in the All World Sports President’s Day Weekend Tournament this weekend. This was a 3 day tournament with 2 games Saturday and Sunday and the championship game on Monday so there was no guarantee that the boys were going to get to wear their “whites” (Dave and I call them their “Sunday Best” uniform) but these boys showed up this weekend and played their hearts out. We are so proud of them and they came out on top! CHAMPIONS!!! We had 5 games and 5 pitchers that threw complete games without exceeding 70 pitches. That is huge!! The team played with chemistry and for each other and it was fantastic to watch. Cole had a blast playing 3 days of baseball with his new buddy Bryce. He said it was the best tournament weekend so far.
Beau played his heart out in center field and first base and had a blast! He had good at bats and great on base percentage so he should be proud of himself. I know he has tasted a championship now and if all of the boys feel like he does, our competitors better watch out. We are on a mission for more.
